News: At least 1 left hurt after hit-and-run on Aurora Ave N in north Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — Injuries were reported early Wednesday evening following a hit-and-run crash in north Seattle’s Bitter Lake neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The incident took place at the intersection of Aurora Avenue North (State Route 99) and North 130th Street. Officers with the SPD’s North Precinct responded to the scene after receiving a call at around 5:02 p.m.

Very few details have been made public, but dispatchers indicated a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) in which one of the involved parties fled the scene before first responders arrived.

At least one person was confirmed injured, but the severity of their condition was not immediately clear.

As of this writing, the department has not issued a description of the fleeing vehicle and/or suspect.
