News: At least 1 left hurt after hit-and-run crash in North Beacon Hill

SEATTLE, WA — Injuries were reported Tuesday afternoon after a hit-and-run crash in Seattle’s North Beacon Hill neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The incident was reported at the intersection of Rainier Avenue South and South Holgate Street, a few blocks southwest of Colman Playground. Officers with the SPD’s South Precinct responded to the scene after receiving a call at about 3:44 p.m.

Details remain limited, but dispatchers listed the event as a motor vehicle collision with injuries. At least one involved party fled the scene before authorities arrived, qualifying the crash as a hit-and-run.
