News: At least 1 injured in crash on I-405 offramp near Kirkland

KING COUNTY, WA — Authorities responded to an injury collision Friday morning on Interstate 405 near northeast Kirkland, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The accident happened on the Exit 18 ramp connecting I-405 southbound to the westbound lanes of Northeast 85th Street. It was first reported by Trooper Rick Johnson at 9:53 a.m.

Little information has been shared at this time, but one vehicle appeared to have run off the roadway and down an embankment.

#ClosureAlert SB I-405 to EB NE 85th due to a vehicle off the roadway. Tows on scene recovering the vehicle which is down the embankment. This was a one car injury collision.
