News: Alleged impaired driver fatally collides with another vehicle near East Hill

KENT, WA – According to FOX 13, a suspected impaired driver fatally collided with another vehicle at 94th Avenue South and South 240th Street on March 28.

A 40-year-old woman slammed into a car occupied by Jose Ortiz and his wife,

Ortiz died in the crash. First responders transported his wife to an area hospital with a broken clavicle and broken ribs.

Authorities arrested the other driver for DUI after she displayed signs of being intoxicated. She is charged with vehicular homicide.
