PAULSBO, WA – A suspected impaired driver fatally collided with another vehicle on the 16200 block of Viking Ave NW on Dec. 25, according to FOX 13.
Authorities believe a driver was speeding while under the influence when he went to the opposite travel lane to pass another vehicle and collided head-on with a Toyota SUV.
The wrong-way driver died in the collision. First responders transported the man and woman inside the Toyota SUV to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Crews shut down the area to process the incident.
