OLYMPIA, WA – According to KIRO 7, a suspected impaired driver was hurt after they plowed into a tree near Washington 510 eastbound and Rockcress Drive Southeast on Friday.
The driver slammed into the tree and became stuck in it around 7:38 p.m.
Emergency crews stabilized the car and then extricated the driver. Paramedics transported the driver to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities arrested the driver for DUI.
