RENTON, WA – Renton police are investigating two crashes caused by a suspected impaired driver on Sunday, according to KING.
The suspect collided with another driver at 140th Way Southeast and Maple Valley Highway around 6 p.m.
Following the collision, the driver fled the scene and hit another driver head-on at 154th Place Southeast and Maple Valley Highway, roughly one mile east of the initial crash.
First responders transported a person involved in the second wreck to an area hospital in critical condition.
It is unclear exactly how many people were hurt in the crashes.
Authorities arrested the suspect.
