News: Alleged impaired driver arrested after crash in North Seattle 

NORTH SEATTLE, WA – An alleged impaired driver was arrested after causing a multi-car crash in North Seattle around 11 p.m. on Sunday, Kiro7 reports.

Seattle Police said the incident unfolded after 11 p.m. when a driver of a Volkswagen was traveling at a high rate of speed and crashed into a Chevrolet in the area of North 107th Street and Aurora Avenue North. 

The Volkswagen driver drifted across several lanes and crashed his car into a power pole. The Volkswagen overturned and crashed into a parked Tesla. 

The Volkswagen driver exited his vehicle and attempted to flee, but was arrested a short time later. 

Seattle Police said the Volkswagen driver exhibited signs of impairment and booked him into the King County Jail. He is being charged with vehicular assault. 

The driver of the parked Tesla, a 28-year-old man, was injured, while the Chevrolet driver, a 66-year-old man, was not injured.
