News: Alleged DUI driver causes crash in Spanaway that sends 2 to hospital 

SPANAWAY, WA – An alleged DUI driver was responsible for causing a crash that sent two people to a hospital on Tuesday. 

The collision happened around 1 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 7 and 8th Avenue South, according to Kiro7. EMS crews transported two people with unspecified injuries to the emergency room, and Washington State Patrol arrested one person, whom they suspect was impaired while operating a vehicle. 

Officials shut down the area for several hours to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation.
