SEATTLE, WA – An alleged DUI driver was responsible for causing a crash on I-5 North that sent one person to a hospital on Thursday.
The collision happened around midnight near State Route 520, according toFox13Seattle. Washington State Patrol arrested a driver on suspicion of DUI and vehicular assault.
One person was taken to the emergency room for treatment of a broken arm.
Authorities blocked one lane for the investigation for approximately two hours and reopened the area around 2 a.m.
Troopers have not specified the exact cause of the collision or provided an update on the physical condition of the hospitalized occupant.
