News: Accident shuts down three lanes on I-5 northbound in Tukwila

TUKWILA, WA — A vehicle crash early Thursday morning forced three left lanes to close down on Interstate 5 northbound in Tukwila, according to Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

Update 5:29 AM : On I-5 southbound just north of SR 599 there is a collision blocking the 3 left lanes.

Emergency crews responded to the scene along I-5 near Interurban Avenue South, just north of the State Route 599 interchange. WSDOT reported the crash at 5:30 a.m.

A nine-second video footage taken at the site show police, fire crews and a tow truck responding to the crash.

It is unclear how many vehicles or people were involved in the incident.

At 6:32 a.m., WSDOT updated to mark the crash as cleared.
