KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle crash late Friday morning blocked three center lanes on Interstate 5 in northwest Kent, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.
On I-5 southbound just north of SR 516 there is a collision blocking the 2 center lanes.

The collision took place on the southbound lanes of the interstate just north of State Route 516. It was first reported by WSDOT at 11:45 a.m.
Video footage captured at the scene indicate at least two vehicles were involved. One passenger car appears to have flipped onto its roof as a result of the accident.

Authorities initially reported the closure of two center lanes, but by 12:05 p.m., three lanes were closed to traffic as Washington State Patrol and emergency crews responded to the scene.
Passing motorists were forced to divert through the HOV and far right lane.
No further information has been shared on the cause of the crash or any significant injuries.
