News: Accident reported on West Marginal Way SW in Riverview area

SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were called to the scene of a wreck Thursday afternoon in southwest Seattle’s Riverview neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.

The collision took place on West Marginal Way Southwest at Southwest Front Street. It was first reported by SDOT at 12:35 p.m.

Little information has been disclosed, but the incident left the right southbound lane blocked for nearly 45 minutes following the initial report.

A photo captured at the site suggests a semi-truck may have been involved.

By 1:19 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all travel lanes were restored to traffic.
