News: Accident closes two lanes on I-405 NB in Bothell

KING COUNTY, WA — Authorities responded to a wreck Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 405 in Bothell, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The collision took place on the northbound lanes just past Northeast 195th Street. It was first recorded by WSDOT at 2:35 p.m.

Officials have not provided details indicating the cause of the crash, but the left general-purpose lane and part of the toll lane were blocked in the immediate aftermath.

By 2:56 p.m., only the toll lane remained closed, but motorists were warned of delays in the area. Footage captured at the scene shows traffic slowing behind emergency vehicles.

At 3:16 p.m., about 40 minutes after the initial report, crews had cleared out of the roadway and all lanes were reported reopened.
