News: Accident closes two lanes on Aurora Ave N in Haller Lake area

SEATTLE, WA — A crash Wednesday evening blocked two lanes on Aurora Avenue North in north Seattle’s Haller Lake area, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.

The collision took place on the northbound lanes (State Route 99) just north of North 130th Street, near Aurora Shopping Center. It was first reported by SDOT at 5:41 p.m.

Officials have not said released details on the accident, but the left and center northbound lanes were closed as a result. A photo captured at the scene suggests two passenger vehicles were involved.

The closure remained in place for nearly an hour. By 6:35 p.m., the scene was announced cleared and all lanes were reopened to traffic.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone was hurt.
