News: Accident closes southbound Delridge Way SW in West Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were called to a vehicle wreck Tuesday afternoon that blocked part of an intersection in West Seattle’s North Delridge neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.

The accident was reported at the corner of Delridge Way Southwest and Southwest Hudson Street, leaving all southbound lanes blocked by 3:47 p.m.

No information about the involved parties or vehicles has been made available, but the closure remained in place until about 4:05 p.m., more than 15 minutes later.

A photo taken at the scene shows a traffic backup in the area, but it was not immediately apparent whether anyone was injured.
