News: Accident closes section of Boren Ave in Seattle’s First Hill area

SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were called to a collision late Friday morning near Swedish Hospital in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.

The crash happened on Boren Avenue at Marion Street and was first reported by SDOT at 11:27 a.m.

It was unclear what caused the accident or how many vehicles were impacted, but both northbound and southbound lanes of Boren Avenue were closed at the intersection.

A photo captured at the scene shows at least one fire engine responded, but no injuries have been confirmed at this time.

By 11:43 a.m., the scene had cleared and all lanes were reported reopened to traffic.
