News: Accident closes part of SW Roxbury St in West Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were dispatched to a collision Thursday afternoon on Southwest Roxbury Street in West Seattle, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.

The incident took place at the intersection with 15th Avenue Southwest, in an area just north of White Center. It was first reported by SDOT at 2:23 p.m.

Little information has been released following the event, but at least part of the area was shut down to accommodate the emergency response and initial investigation.

By 3:10 p.m., nearly 50 minutes later, crews had removed the scene from the roadway.

It’s unclear what led up to the accident and how many vehicles were impacted. No injuries have been confirmed as of this writing.
