News: Accident closes lanes on SW Spokane St near Harbor Island

SEATTLE, WA — Authorities responded to a wreck Wednesday morning that blocked two lanes on Southwest Spokane Street near Seattle’s Harbor Island, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.

The collision took place at the intersection with 11th Avenue Southwest and was first recorded by SDOT at 10:52 a.m.

Officials said the scene had both an eastbound and westbound left lane of Southwest Spokane Street closed.

It remains unclear what caused the crash or how many vehicles were impacted, but by 11:17 a.m., about 25 minutes later, crews had cleared the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.

No major injuries were immediately reported.
