News: Accident closes lane on northbound I-405 near Kirkland

KING COUNTY, WA – Emergency crews were called to a crash early Tuesday evening, August 27, on Interstate 27 near Kirkland, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The accident impacted the northbound lanes just north of Northeast 85th Street, at about 5:40 p.m.

While the circumstances of the event have not been disclosed to the public, the right northbound lane was closed in the immediate aftermath.

On I-405 northbound just north of NE 85th ST there is a collision blocking the right lane.

Local officials have not confirmed any major injuries or hospital transports from the scene.
