News: Accident closes lane on I-405 SB near Bellevue’s Newport Shores

KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon blocked a center lane on Interstate 405 near the Newport Shores neighborhood in south Bellevue, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The collision took place on the southbound lanes at Exit 10 to Lake Washington Boulevard Southeast and Coal Creek Parkway. It was first reported by the WSDOT at 1:55 p.m.

On I-405 southbound at Coal Creek Pkwy there is a collision blocking the center lane.

As of this writing, authorities have not released further information regarding the parties involved or any potential injuries.
