News: Accident closes lane on Aurora Ave N in Wallingford

SEATTLE, WA — Authorities responded to a crash early Wednesday evening in north Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.

The collision occurred on the northbound lanes of Aurora Avenue North at North 49th Street, just south of Woodland Park. It was first reported by SDOT at 5:39 p.m.

Officials have not shared any information regarding the cause of the wreck, but the right northbound lane remained blocked for about 30 minutes.

By 6:11 p.m., the scene had been cleared and all lanes were reopened to motorists.
