News: Accident blocks part of northbound 4th Ave S in downtown Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were called to a collision Thursday afternoon on 4th Avenue South in downtown Seattle, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.

The accident happened at the intersection with South Main Street and was first reported by SDOT at 3:46 p.m.

No information indicating the number of vehicles involved or the cause of the wreck has been released, but the right northbound lane was closed in the immediate aftermath.

By 3:57 p.m., crews had cleared the scene and all lanes were announced reopened.
