News: Accident blocks part of 23rd Ave S in North Beacon Hill area

SEATTLE, WA — Authorities responded to a collision Monday evening that closed part of 23rd Avenue South in Seattle’s North Beacon Hill neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.

The crash took place at the intersection with South McClellan Street and was first recorded by SDOT at about 6:22 p.m.

Little information has been provided, but the motorists were asked to seek alternate routes around the scene as the entire intersection was shut down.

By 7:00 p.m., more than 35 minutes later, the scene had been cleared from the roadway.
