News: Accident blocks I-5 SB offramp near convention center in downtown Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle collision Sunday evening closed an Interstate 5 exit ramp near the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.

The crash impacted the offramp from southbound lanes of I5 to Union Street. It was first reported by WSDOT at 5:45 p.m.

On the I-5 southbound off-ramp to Union St there is a collision blocking the ramp.

As of this writing, authorities have not released further information regarding the parties involved or the circumstances behind the event.
