News: Accident affects rush-hour traffic on NB I-5 near Michigan

SEATTLE, WA – The Washington State Department of Transportation said that a collision blocked northbound traffic on I-5 ahead of Michigan Street this morning.

The incident was first reported via Twitter at 6:40 a.m. Still photos taken from a traffic camera at I-5 NB and S Albro Place showed traffic backed up around a collision in the shoulder that projected into the far right-hand lane. It seems as though two vehicles were involved, but we cannot verify that at this time.
