KING COUNTY, WA — Six people were injured early Saturday when a DUI suspect struck a King County Metro bus in northeast Bellevue, reports KIRO 7 Seattle.
The crash happened near the intersection of Bel-Red Road Northeast and Northeast 24th Street, shortly after midnight.
According to the Bellevue Police Department, a driver suspected of intoxication was fleeing from officers when he collided with the Metro bus.
The bus driver and their five passengers suffered minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
It was unclear whether the fleeing driver was injured, but he was arrested following the wreck.
