News: 50-year-old man killed in Capitol Hill pedestrian collision

SEATTLE, WA – According to FOX 13, a pedestrian was killed and a driver was injured in a collision in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood on Wednesday morning.

Officials with the Seattle Fire Department said medics responded to the scene at the intersection of 10th Avenue East and East Newton Street around 9:15 a.m.

Emergency crews attempted to stabilize the condition of the 50-year-old pedestrian, but he passed away at the scene.

The female driver, who is in her 60s, was rushed to Harborview Medical Center with critical injuries.
