News: 3 injured following 2-car collision in Federal Way

FEDERAL WAY, WA – Three people were injured when a sedan made a left turn in front of an SUV at an intersection in Federal Way on Friday, King 5 reports.

Police, firefighters, and medical personnel arrived at the intersection of Pacific Highway S. and S. 283rd Street by approximately 10 p.m. on the night of Friday, May 14. Investigators believe that a southbound sedan made a left-hand turn in front of northbound SUV, resulting in a collision.

Two people in the SUV sustained serious injuries. They have been identified only as a man and a woman believed to be in their 40s.

The causing driver, a man in his 60s, suffered life-threatening injuries.

All three victims were taken to Harborview Medical Center.
