News: 3 hurt in multi-vehicle collision caused by alleged DUI driver in Seattle  

SEATTLE, WA – Three people were sent to a hospital after a multi-vehicle collision, which was said to have been caused by a speeding and an allegedly impaired driver. 

The crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Interstate 5 near West Seattle Freeway, King5 reports. 

The suspect, a 20-year-old woman from Des Moines, Washington, was said to have first crashed with one vehicle in the far left lane before colliding with another vehicle.

The suspect and two vehicle occupants — a 66-year-old adult and an 11-year-old child — were all sent to the hospital. 

The 66-year-old adult driver is in stable condition, while the child is in serious condition, recovering at an Intensive Care Unit. 

The female suspect sustained unspecified injuries and was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. 

Washington State Patrol said the female suspect is likely to face a vehicular assault charge.
