PARKWOOD, WA – According to KIRO 7, three children were injured in a wrong-way crash caused by a suspected impaired driver at Washington 160 and Aiken Road Southeast on Wednesday.
A 33-year-old woman was driving a black Cadilac Escalade east on Washington 160 when she strayed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a westbound SUV.
First responders transported a 6-year-old boy and two 3-year-old boys from the Cadilac to an area hospital. Crews also transported the other driver, a 74-year-old, to an area hospital.
Authorities arrested the Cadilac driver on suspicion of DUI.
The Washington State Patrol is investigating the incident.
