News: 3 arrested after pursuit leads to crash in north Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — Three people were arrested late Monday morning after an armed robbery in Everett prompted a pursuit that ended with a crash in north Seattle, reports KIRO 7 Seattle.

The wreck occurred in the 1300 block of Aurora Avenue, near Aurora Shopping Center in the Bitter Lake neighborhood.

Officials with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said the events first unfolded in Everett shortly after 11:30 a.m., when deputies responded to a robbery involving a weapon in the 800 block of 128th Street Southwest.

A pursuit was initiated after one of the suspect’s vehicles was identified. Deputies followed the vehicle southbound on State Route 99 into King County, where it later crashed.

Three suspects were located and taken into custody with the help of a police K9 and the King County Sheriff’s Office.

No serious injuries were reported, but it was unclear whether anyone had to be taken to a hospital.
