News: 2 seriously injured in head-on collision near SW Everett

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — Two people were hospitalized Wednesday morning after a two-car crash on Evergreen Way in southwest Everett’s Holly neighborhood, reports KIRO 7 Seattle.

The accident took place at the intersection with Southwest Everett Mall Way. Everett Police and first responders arrived at the scene shortly after 5:30 a.m.

It was unclear what led up to the wreck, but Everett Fire Department crews had to extricate both drivers from the wreckage of the vehicles.

Both patients suffered serious injuries and were rushed to a local hospital where they were listed in stable condition.

A section of Evergreen Way was blocked off for an extended time as authorities investigated.

At this time, no pending charges or citations have been reported.
