EASTON, WA – Two semi-trucks collided on eastbound I-90 at milepost 66 this morning, causing one to overturn and shutting down traffic in the area for hours.

The Washington State Department of Transportation announced the accident on X, formerly Twitter, at 9:33 a.m. this morning.
Photos of the accident showed heavy front-end damage to a semi-truck with a maroon cab, as well as an overturned tanker truck.
1. There are backups on eastbound I-90 between the summit & Easton due an earlier collision that’s cleared.
2. Expect backups… because it’s typical for Friday.

WSDOT reported that the collision had been cleared by around noon.
