News: 2 people in custody after pursuit-turned-crash in Federal Way 

FEDERAL WAY, WA – Two people were in custody after a pursuit-turned-crash that took place in Federal Way on Wednesday. 

KOMO News said the events began at 5:40 a.m., when troopers spotted a driver at a rest area and attempted to pull them over. The motorist did not listen, which prompted a pursuit. 

The chase ended when troopers used spikes to stop the fleeing driver. The driver crashed their car as a result. Law enforcement took the driver and another person into custody. No injuries were reported. 

Troopers did not specify the reasoning behind the traffic stop or confirm any pending charges at this time.
