News: 2 pedestrians hospitalized after hit-and-run crash near Yesler Terrace Park 

SEATTLE, WA – Two male pedestrians had to go to a local hospital following a hit-and-run crash that happened southeast of Yesler Terrace Park on Sunday.

The crash happened after 11:45 p.m. at the intersection of 12th Ave S and South Jackson Street, according to KomoNews.

Police said the driver of a dark-colored vehicle veered off the road and came onto the sidewalk, striking the two male pedestrians before fleeing the scene and continuing west.

The impact of the hit-and-run crash left the 36-year-old man and a 29-year-old man with serious injuries. EMS crews transported them to Harborview Medical Center.

Police are working to determine the events leading to the collision and to determine what the suspect and their vehicle looked like.
