News: 2 children, 2 adults hospitalized after rollover crash in Seattle’s SoDo

SEATTLE, WA — Four people, including two young children, were hospitalized Monday morning after a two-vehicle collision in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood, reports KIRO 7 News.

The accident happened at the corner of 6th Avenue South and South Lander Street shortly before 10:45 a.m.

According to the Seattle Fire Department, a truck had overturned in a crash with another vehicle.

Fire crews worked to remove an adult male passenger, an adult female passenger, and two young boys aged 5 and 1 from the truck. All four patients suffered minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital.

No injuries to the two occupants in the second vehicle were reported.

As of this writing, authorities have not released details on a possible cause of the crash.

Motorists were asked to avoid the area as authorities closed the intersection for an investigation.
