BOTHELL, WA – A 14-year-old driver died in a single-vehicle crash on I-405 near WA 527 on Saturday, according to KING 5.
The driver was heading north on I-405 when they strayed off the road and slammed into the guardrail around 2 a.m. The driver died in the collision.
First responders transported the three passengers, two 15-year-olds and a 14-year-old, to an area hospital. Their current conditions are unknown.
Following the collision, crews shut down the road to process the scene. It was reopened around 5 a.m.
The Washington State Patrol is investigating the incident.
