News: 1 life claimed, another hurt in Lakewood pursuit-turned-motorcycle crash 

LAKEWOOD, WA – One person lost their life and another was injured in a pursuit-turned-motorcycle crash in Lakewood on Tuesday, Fox13Seattle said. 

Preliminary details show that the King County Sheriff’s Office had received a call about a stolen motorcycle. The suspect was seen riding that motorcycle on South Tacoma Way before crashing into a “Welcome to Lakewood” sign, according to an eyewitness statement. 

The King County Sheriff’s Office said the pursuit started in Burien and told the source that the deputies had called off the chase just before the suspect crashed their bike. 

The suspect was “also wanted in connection with domestic violence threats involving a firearm.” 

Officials did not confirm the identities of those who died and those who were injured in this crash.
