News: 1 left hurt after pedestrian crash on 53rd Ave in West Seattle

WEST SEATTLE, WA — A 70-year-old man was hospitalized Thursday night after a pedestrian collision in West Seattle’s North Admiral neighborhood, according to West Seattle Blog.

The incident occurred at the intersection of 53rd Avenue Southwest and Alki Avenue Southwest, near Alki Beach. It was first reported by WSB shortly after 5:30 p.m., when multiple Seattle Police squad cars and Seattle Fire crews had already responded.

Few details have been disclosed, but the event was described as a “vehicle/pedestrian collision.” The injured victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.

Authorities did not say whether the driver stayed at the scene. No charges or citations have been reported.

WSB reported the scene had been cleared by 5:47 p.m.
