News: 1 killed, passenger & puppy injured in pickup truck crash in Graham 

GRAHAM, WA – A 55-year-old man died, and his passenger and a puppy were injured in a pickup truck crash that occurred in Graham over Memorial Day Weekend.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office told Kiro7 that a pickup truck crashed into a ditch off the intersection of Orville Road East and Griggs Road East.

The events leading up to the crash remain unclear. However, officials confirmed that the driver, a 55-year-old man, died from his injuries at the scene.

The pickup truck passenger survived and was hospitalized for serious injuries.

Deputies said a puppy was injured as well, but did not say if they were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. Regardless, they were rushed to a veterinary hospital for treatment.
