News: 1 killed, 2 hurt in T-bone crash on Hood Canal Bridge in Poulsbo 

POULSBO, WA – One person was killed and two people were hurt in a T-bone crash that occurred on the Hood Canal Bridge on Thursday.

Washington State Patrol told KOMO News that the crash happened around 5 p.m. Troopers said that a person driving a 2006 Toyota pickup truck was attempting to make a U-turn near the midpoint at the bridge and collided with a Mercedes-Benz SUV, resulting in a T-bone crash. 

The passenger inside the SUV, a 39-year-old man, died, and the two drivers were airlifted to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. 

Troopers shut down the area for several hours and reopened all lanes by 10:15 p.m.
