News: 1 killed, 1 seriously hurt in crash on Glenwood Ave near west Everett

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A man died Saturday morning after a collision that seriously injured another near west Everett, according to My Everett News.

The Everett Police Department first reported the wreck in the 4800 block of Glenwood Avenue, southeast of Harborview Park, shortly after 1:00 a.m.

Officials did not share the circumstances behind the accident, but a man in his 30s was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Another male victim in his 30s suffered serious injuries. No updates on his condition have been released at this time.

Police said the 4800-5000 blocks of the road were expected to remain closed as Traffic Safety Detectives conducted an investigation.

The crash caused an outage that impacted about 1000 Snohomish County Public Utility District (PUD) customers, but crews were on the scene working to restore power.
