News: 1 injured when car crashes into Everett physical rehab clinic

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — One person was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after a vehicle slammed into a physical rehab clinic in northeast Everett, reports KIRO 7 Seattle.

The incident occurred at Summit Rehabilitation off Broadway, in the city’s Bayside area. It was first reported shortly after 1:00 p.m.

Officials did not say what led up to the wreck, but photos taken at the scene suggest a car went up onto a sidewalk before crashing through the window near the front door of the business. The vehicle is seen at rest in an area near the far wall of the lobby, well past the reception desk. Significant damage to both the building and the vehicle can be observed.

One person suffered undisclosed injuries and was transported to a local hospital where they were listed in stable condition. It was unclear whether the patient was the driver or an occupant of the building.

At this time, no pending charges or citations have been reported.
