News: 1 injured in head-on crash on SE 240th St near NE Kent

KING COUNTY, WA — One person was hospitalized Wednesday morning after a head-on collision in Kent’s East Hill area, according to I Love Kent.

The accident occurred at Southeast 240th Street and 116th Avenue Southeast. It was first reported by Puget Sound Fire at 4:46 p.m. later that day.

Officials have not released details regarding the cause of the wreck, but one person was transported to Valley Medical Center with undisclosed injuries. No updates on their condition have been shared.

A photo taken at the scene shows severe front end damage to two passenger cars.
