News: 1 hurt in rollover semi crash on I-5 offramp near Southcenter

KING COUNTY, WA — One person was injured Wednesday afternoon when a semi-truck overturned on an Interstate 5 connector ramp near Tukwila’s Southcenter area, reports King 5.

The accident took place on the ramp from I-5 southbound to I-405 northbound (Exit 154A). It was first reported by the Washington State Patrol at around 12:00 p.m.

Officials did not say what led up to the rollover wreck, but the offramp was left completely blocked as a result.

Minor injuries were reported, though it was unclear whether anyone had to be taken to a hospital.

Motorists were encouraged to find alternate routes as the scene was expected to require a longer clearance time.
