News: 1 hospitalized after rollover dump truck crash in Granite Falls

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A driver was seriously injured late Thursday morning due to a rollover wreck involving two vehicles in Granite Falls, reports FOX 13 Seattle.

The collision occurred in the area of 84th Street Northeast and 163rd Avenue Northeast, just before 11:00 a.m.

According to deputies with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, a dump truck that was transporting gravel collided with an SUV. The impact of the crash caused the dump truck to overturn and spill gravel across the roadway.

Officials said one driver suffered serious injuries and had to be rushed to a local hospital.

The intersection was shut down as traffic detectives conducted an investigation.
