News: 1 hospitalized after crash on Delridge Way SW in West Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — One person was injured Friday evening due to a collision in West Seattle’s South Delridge neighborhood, according to West Seattle Blog.

The accident occurred near the intersection of Delridge Way Southwest and 20th Avenue Southwest. By 6:49 p.m., Seattle Police were o the scene diverting southbound motorists away from the scene.

Authorities have not provided a sequence of events leading up to the wreck, but Seattle Fire officials said a 50-year-old man suffered undisclosed injuries and was transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.

One other involved party, a 51-year-old man was not reported hurt.

At 7:26 p.m., Seattle Department of Transportation crews had finished cleaning a resulting spill, and buses had resumed their regular routes through the area.
