News: 1 dead in single-vehicle collision in south Seattle

SEATTLE, WA – One person died in a fatal single-vehicle crash in south Seattle Thursday night, according to KIRO 7.

A 30-year-old man was driving at high speeds when he lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a pole on East Marginal Way South around 8 p.m.

First responders performed life-saving measures on the man before pronouncing him dead at the scene.

The incident is under investigation by the Traffic Investigation Squad.
