TACOMA, WA – A man sustained serious injuries resulting from a hit-and-run collision on a south Tacoma road Tuesday evening.
According to KIRO, the accident took place sometime before 5:30 p.m.along Route 512.
Troopers say the victim got out of his vehicle after striking a cable barrier. He was then struck by an oncoming pickup truck. The driver in the pickup did not stop to render aid to the victim.
Debris left the scene lead investigators to believe the vehicle responsible for the crash was an older-model Ford F-250 or F-350.
